Dr. Andreas Sommer, Studium der Philosophie, Psychologie und Medizingeschichte, Promotion in Wissenschaftsforschung. Derzeit wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Department of History and Philosophy of Science, University of Cambridge. Mitglied der History of Science Society, der British Society for the History of Science, der European Society for the History of the Human Sciences und der Society for Psychical Research. Schwerpunkte: Die Rolle der parapsychologischen Forschung in der Entstehung der Psychologie als europäische und nordamerikanische Universitätswissenschaft im ausgehenden 19. Jahrhundert, Wissenschaftstheorie (insbesondere: Demarkationsproblem) und Wissenschaftssoziologie (u.a. Ausgrenzung unkonventioneller Epistemologien und Forschungsfragen).
